Run by the Mc Hugh family for over seven generations, Nancy’s is a delightful gem of a pub.
Walking through each little room filled with antiques and bric a brac is like walking through time, and it is this traditional atmosphere which makes Nancy’s a place that people want to return to again and again.
The menu is delicious- it’s the tried and trusted “no fuss” approach created by Ann- who ran the kitchen at Nancy’s for 40 years, creating some of the mouth watering meals which Nancy’s Bar is still famous for today. Recently having handed over the reigns to eldest son and Head Chef Daniel, Ann continues to instill her ideals on the food production with her motto – “Keep it local, keep it fresh, keep it simple!”

Bar closed on 25th December, opening 7pm on 26th December.
***Please note- At busy periods during the year (ie Easter holidays, festival weekends and daily throughout July, August and September) food service is extremely busy from 7pm onward. Because of this, we sell out of daily specials very quickly and we are often full to capacity, so during these times it’s advisable to arrive early to avoid disappointment!***
